Paintings:
My commission process is collaborative in nature. I approach each piece as a symphony of my practice and your story. We’ll work together gathering inspiration from various works, colors, compositions, and the space the art will live in. I will then create a custom color palette for you based on our discussions, and upon your approval, begin initial layers on the canvas or paper. You will also experience the evolution of the work as I share stages of my process throughout.
'Solar Signatures':
Capture a moment in time with the sun and sea. I will create your very own original cyanotype directly within your favorite beach or body of water. 'Solar Signatures' are camera-less impressions on paper, impossible without the light of our sun and the movement of the sea. Further distances are welcome upon arrangement. 'Solar Signatures' are original works on paper, best float-mounted and framed.

Travel within 1 hour of Lexington, MA included.
Driving distance up to 4 hours from Lexington, MA: travel cost is $150 per hour both directions (includes fuel and total travel time). Payment terms: $500 minimum, 50% down, 50% upon completion. accepted payment: cash, check or credit. Interest-free payment plans available upon request. NO minimum for custom print orders. Refunds of deposit will be provided as credit for future Mary Lynn Burke art purchases.
